Jason Brooks
I recently relocated back to Georgia from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I was pursuing a graduate degree in Geography & Anthropology. While in Louisiana, I began my teaching career in grades 6 & 7 social studies and as an adjunct instructor of Geography at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans. Soon after, I moved into grades 9-12 where I taught AP Human Geography, AP US Government, US History (both high school level and Dual Enrollment through LSU), Western Civilizations (both high school level and Dual Enrollment through LSU), and World Religions (Dual Enrollment through LSU). I have also served as the college advisor for high school students at my previous location.
I am super excited to be able to continue my career back in my home state and look forward to educating the students of Chestnut Log Middle School. Go Bears!
