Chestnut Log Middle School

CLMS ELA Teachers, Ms. Hester, Ms. Matthews and Ms. Elliott, had the opportunity to attend a meet and greet with young adult author Jason Reynolds. Many of their students read several of his books with the ELA team last year. During the meet and greet, Reynolds signed CLMS student Maleeyah Fletcher's poster. The poster was an assignment that Fletcher worked very hard on last year. Fletcher was presented with the poster at school by her ELA teacher, and as expected, was excited about the author's acknowledgement of her class project. WAY TO GO BEARS!
