Dr. J. Kameron Farrow is a proud native of Clayton County, GA where he graduated from Jonesboro High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Valdosta State University (Go Blazers!), Master's Degree in Science Education from Albany State University (Go Rams!), and Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from THE University of Southern Mississippi (SMTTT!). Dr. Farrow has experience teaching in rural, suburban, and urban areas. He began teaching in the rural Baconton Community Charter School District as a science teacher and football coach. He then moved to the urban Marietta City School district as a science teacher, basketball coach, and mentor for young men. His next stop was as a science teacher, basketball coach and after school program coordinator at Douglas County’s College and Career Institute (CCI). After 3 amazing years at CCI, Dr. Farrow was appointed as Assistant Principal to Chestnut Log Middle School. The 2024-25 school year will be Dr. Farrow’s 3rd year as an Assistant Principal at Chestnut Log Middle School and 10th year in education. Dr. Farrow’s greatest accomplishment is being a husband and father to Brielle and Karter. He works in the following roles: 8th Grade Administrator, Transportation, Athletic Director, MTSS Coordinator, and Safety & Facility Manager.
