Academic Policies

Learning is an ongoing process; therefore, students are expected to participate in class work, discussions, any assigned homework, or any activities that will prepare them successfully for tests or other forms of assessment.

Students who do not complete assignments to quality standards (“C” or higher) will not be considered ready for assessment. Students who show little or no evidence of readiness for assessment may be given additional help along with parental cooperation.

Each student is expected to participate in all class activities, including cooperative teams, paired, and independent assignments.

Students are responsible for having materials ready at all times, including pencils and pens, notebook paper, homework, and textbook.

There is no such thing as no homework! In addition to assigned homework, students should be reading constantly!!
