This is my second year
at Chestnut Log Middle School and the warm welcome by the principal and the
entire staff was unbelievable and I am delighted to be a member of CLMS family.
One of my paramount goals as an educator is to continuously push my students to
think outside of the classroom and prepare them to the challenges of the global
world and diversity as they prepare to be competitive with other students
around the world.

LECTURES/DISCUSSION:
1. Listen
attentively to the person speaking.
2. If
you have a comment or question, raise your hand and wait until the teacher
calls on you.
PEER/GROUP WORK: Speak in low voices so only those you are

with can hear you.
INDIVIDUAL WORK/QUIZZES/TESTS:

The Sixth Grade Georgia Standards of Excellence for science are designed to give all students an overview of common
strands in earth science including, but not limited to, meteorology, geology, astronomy, and oceanography.
